Mini Flower Tutorial
This has step by step instructions for beginners.
All in UK terms.

1.

Make 2 chain.

2. 

Into the 1st (farthest away from the hook) chain, work a double crochet.

3. 

Make another 3 chain.

4. 

Into the 1st (farthest away from the hook) chain, work a slip stitch.  This is your 1st petal made.

5. 

Work another double crochet into the very 1st chain made.

6.

Repeat steps 3 and 4.  2nd petal made.

7. 

Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 until you have 8 petals made.

8.  

Insert hook in to the 2nd of the very 1st 2 chain made and work a slip stitch.

9.

Cut yarn or thread and pull the end through the slip stitch.  Pull the end tight.

You now have a Mini flower.

Sew the ends in to tidy it up and use it in any way you wish.

To make slightly larger flowers, use 4 or 5 chain at step 3.
